Herbal Treatment of Chickenpox (Varicella)


Chickenpox is a common skin infection and is contagious. Chickenpox can attack anyone, but is more common in children aged 3-8 years. Generally, if the bubble on chickenpox burst the cause of scars (pockmarks).
Herbal treatment of Chickenpox


Chickenpox is caused by Varicella zoster virus infection. Transmitted through direct contact with patients or indirectly (by air).


Symptoms and signs of Chickenpox
1. Begins with fever, lethargy, and no appetite.
2. After the fever down, a rash or red spots that have a small bubble containing a clear fluid containing pus and when broken can cause scars.


Treatment of Chickenpox 
1. Rest and put in separate rooms until the scab dries to avoid transmission (typically, 1 week after onset of rash)
2. Sprinkle itching powder and keep the patient not to scratch the itchy skin.
3. During a fever, do not shower first. After the fever subsides, a bath with cold water mixed with soda bread.


The following are some ways to herbal treatment of Chickenpox, including:
Recipe herbal treatment of Chickenpox 1
30 grams of curcuma, 20 grams kencur, 15 grams of ginger, 20 grams of turmeric, and 10 grams of seedless acid. Wash all the ingredients, then mashed. Boiled with 600 cc of water until the remaining 300 cc, and filtered. Drinking water 100 cc 3 times a day.


Recipe herbal treatment of Chickenpox 2
1 finger turi bark, and two of noni. Wash all the ingredients, then mash roughly. Boiled with 400 cc of water to the remaining 200 cc, and filtered. Drink 2 times a day.


Recipe herbal treatment of Chickenpox 3
Turmeric to taste, and leaves sour taste. Wash all ingredients and puree. Add a little coconut oil and mix well. Apply on the skin that itches due to chickenpox.
